Missional Families

Belmont Village Church’s mission focused environments are called Missional Families.

Missional Families are intentional, multi-generational, inter-cultural settings of men and women who practice living as a family of missionary disciples of Jesus. In partnership with the Holy Spirit, these groups cultivate their missionary heart in practical ways. Each missional family has its own unique shared mission to a variety of groups of people in the KW community.

Come and join a Missional Family!

Faithful Fitness

‘Come as you are, do what you can’
FF is a group of ladies who get together weekly to become healthier in spirit, soul and body. Our intention is to have women from BVC invite others to join this missional group, in order for them to hear the good news of Jesus Christ and journey with Jesus-followers.
We start with prayer and a Biblically based devotional talk, then do a workout together and end with a nutritional talk and prayer. There is an optional walk on the Iron Horse Trail, behind BVC, for those who wish to do so.
There is no mat work, just standing workouts geared to women ages 50+, but anyone is welcome to join.
We would be delighted if you joined us!

Learn English

Make Friends

LEMF is an 'English Language Learning’ program that we operate in partnership with the City of Kitchener at the Victoria Hills Community Centre. It’s an opportunity to connect with our local community, specifically newcomers to our neighbourhood who want to develop not only their language skills but knowledge about Canadian culture.  In small table groups we work in a conversation circle format utilizing a prepared worksheet to guide the learning experience for that day. Most of all we welcome and encourage people on their journey adapting to a whole new environment and making friends along the way.
